The P&A (formerly The Plough and Anchor) is a privately owned and passionately run restaurant.

Paul (Jake) Ring, the owner, acquired The P&A in 1999, since then there have been two major upgrades, the last one finishing in November 2006.  This includes a bigger restaurant area, a new kitchen and car park. 

With the new kitchen comes a new Head Chef, Rory Taber, who offers an amazing choice of excellent contemporary British Food.  He provides an expansive A La Carte and Lunchtime menu together with daily specials.  All dishes are complete but we also have a comprehensive selection of favourite side dishes, so you can have your cake and eat it, and you may be assured that everything is made in house.
